Opioid Educational Series

Recovery Support

Addressing the root of the crisis.

The Opioid Educational Series helps us address of our goals of approaching recovery and education from a non-judgmental and inclusive lens.

We work to educate the public as well as provide resources to address the co-occurring mental health complications that can lead to or make recovery difficult.

All of our programs are open to everyone but we pay special attention to ensure they are BIPOC and LGBTQQIA+ friendly!

Educational Workshops

  • Educational workshop on the harm of opioids, how it affects the body, how it has specifically affected Delaware County, our schools, and youth.

Offered from April - June of 2025 at the UDTJ Community Center.

  • The curriculum aims to offer a safe space for self-expression, teach emotional regulation through art, develop skills that boost self-esteem, foster community and support, and provide mental health interventions through out referral networks.

Offered from July -September of 2025.

  • These workshops focus on substance use amongst different cultures, ethnic groups, undocumented citizens and immigrants. We discuss resources and services available for those in need, those who have language barriers, and those who are generally unaware of where to go to bridge the gap between resources and immigrant communities.

Offered at partnering locations from October - December.

  • This is a youth focused educational and social workshop on the connection between mental health and opioids. The goal is to destigmatize mental health support and prevent substance abuse as a coping mechanism.

Offered at the UDTJ Community Center from January - March 2026.
