Join us for Safe Space Socials, a weekly event at the UDTJ Community Center, designed for anyone in our community aged 18 and older. This is a welcoming and inclusive space where you can meet new people, make friends, hang out, and have an overall good time. The community center will be closed to the public during our Winter break. Emergency Referral Services will still be monitored but all in-person activites will cease for the duration of this event.

DelCo Activists Monthly Brunch
Join us for the DelCo Activists Monthly Brunch at the UDTJ Community Center! This is a vibrant and inclusive gathering for activists and community members passionate about social justice and direct action. Share ideas, tips, and strategies for protesting and organizing, while building connections with like-minded individuals in a welcoming environment.

Discuss and organize local community efforts for social justice

Enjoy a potluck-style brunch (BYOB – Bring Your Own Brunch or Beverage!)

MLK DAY MARCH
Event Description: MLK Day Peaceful March in Ridley Township
Join us as we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the spirit of unity demonstrated in the Ridley Marches of 2020 and 2021. This peaceful sidewalk march is a call to action and solidarity against racism, discrimination, and inequality in all its forms.

This march will unite our communities in a shared commitment to combating racial and economic injustice, as well as LGBTQ+ inequality, in Delaware County.
Highlights of the Event:
Opening and closing remarks from community leaders.
A peaceful march starting from the Ridley Police Department and along MacDade Boulevard.
A collective message declaring our commitment to ending poverty, discrimination, and inequality while creating opportunities for all.
We invite all community leaders, organizations, and allies to join us in this powerful demonstration of solidarity.

Safe Space Recovery Events
Looking for a welcoming and supportive space to build community and strengthen your sober journey? Join us for our Safe Space Recovery Events at the UDTJ Community Center. These free, in-person gatherings are designed to provide connection, creativity, and mindfulness for anyone 18+ on their path to recovery.
Here’s what we offer each month:
1st Thursday: Journaling & Writing
Unleash your creativity and reflect on your journey with our Journaling & writing session. Explore meaningful prompts and create a visual keepsake to inspire and empower your progress.
2nd Thursday: Arts & Crafts
Express yourself through hands-on creativity at our Arts & Crafts session! Enjoy a relaxed and supportive atmosphere as you explore new skills and create something special.
3rd Thursday: Music Jam Sessions
Let loose and connect through the power of music at our Music Jam Sessions! Bring your voice, an instrument, or simply your love for music, and join in this lively, collaborative experience.

Delaware County Recovery Peer Support Group:
All workshops are offered in a virtual format. Feel free to attend via zoom.

Our monthly peer support group are for individuals 18+ and up who are in recovery from opioid use disorder and/or substance use disorder.
These community peer support groups are designed to give residents in Delaware County a safe space to build friendships, support each other in recovery, and learn more about the resources available to them. These support meet-ups are meant to provide a safe inclusive and supportive environment for individuals who have been impacted by or are battling OUD/SUD. You are not alone.
