U.D.T.J. Community Center
Programs
From recovery support to relationship building, artistic expression to community service projects, our center programs offer a number of opportunities that are designed to meet the interests and needs of our community. Whether they're passionate about meeting new people and making friends, social justice and activism, finding support, beginning your recovery journey, or the arts, there's something here for everyone to explore, discover, and excel in!
But our commitment to empowerment extends beyond just programs—it's ingrained in everything we do. Through advocacy, and a supportive community network, we strive to empower young people to become catalysts for positive change in their own lives and in the world around them.
Community Building
Community activities include after school programs and community club programs for people to create their own safe and inclusive spaces for our BIPOC and LGBTQQIA+ communities.
Mural Arts
The U.D.T.J. Mural Arts Program started in the summer of 2024. With over 12 murals completed so far we expect to reopen our application in the spring of 2025 and expand our program to communities around Delaware County.
Peer-Support groups
We facilitate peer-support groups for different age groups, promoting mental health awareness and self-care with a focus on intersectionality. All of our current peer support groups are virtual.
Special Events
Special events include DelCo Pride festival and parade, National Coming Out Day, Town halls, the end of the year Gala, and more! Our special events are meant to meet people where they are and give back to our community.
Recovery Support
Our opioid educational series, support initiatives, and harm reduction work prioritizes empowering underserved communities impacted by substance and opioid use.
