Holiday Assistance Program

Because of the severe effects the Pandemic has had on many in our community we are launching the first UDTJ Holiday Assistance Program. In order to prevent the already deep systemic inequality from getting worse as a result of the pandemic, UDTJ has decided to take direct action on behalf of the community. We will be doing direct to person donations of holiday gifts, winter clothes, and non-perishable food and delivering them during the week of Christmas!

We are accepting assistance requests as well as donations and volunteers to assist us in this process. You do not need to be a resident of Upper Darby but instead any neighboring municipality/township, including West Philadelphia. This is completely free with zero strings attached. We are so excited to have this opportunity to help our community during the holidays.

The following links are currently inactive as the program has officially ended.

The program has come to a successful conclusion. We would like to thank the countless donations of clothes, toys, and food that enabled UDTJ to provide food, winter clothes, and toys to over 50 families in Delaware County and Philadelphia. In only two weeks we organized, collected, wrapped and distributed it all. Happy Holidays from UDTJ.

Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who helped us make this program a reality in such short timeframe.
