We will be rallying outside of the Media Courthouse on Wednesday, September 14th from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. On Friday, September 16th, the courts will be deciding whether to dismiss the manslaughter charges against the three officers who killed Fanta Bility. As a community, we must show up in full force to demand that the officers be put on trial and that Fanta gets a fair chance at justice. We cannot let this get swept under the rug!
We will be meeting in front of the Media Courthouse at 6:30 PM. There will be speakers from the community including activist, local community organizations, and more as we lead chants and ensure our calls for justice are heard.
In order to ensure the success of this event we need help spreading the word in our communities. We are conducting a literature drop regarding Fanta’s story to visit every house in Sharon Hill and Collingdale. We will be out there on Sunday, September 4th and Sunday, September 11th. We are asking for volunteers to help us reach every community member.
