Join U.D.T.J. in a rally for the 13th annual International Transgender Day of Visibility recognizing the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community.
Due to weather, the rally has been postponed till April 2nd.
Stay tuned for a historic moment for Delaware County earlier in the day.
Help us as we raise awareness about the struggles that our fellow trans family and neighbors face, and advocate for them in a bid to reform society and empower their community — as it so rightfully deserves. This event will be a rally as well as have a brief speaking portion. Feel free to bring flags and signs.
The event will start at about 7:00 pm. We will meet in front of the township building.
We have much work to do to address the issues facing the trans community and specifically trans people of color who are disproportionally excluded, underrepresented, and underserved.
Join us in the evening at 7:00pm for a vigil and rally at Upper Darby Township Building to celebrate those that continue to preserve and thrive through their adversity.
Upper Darby Township Building: 100 Garrett Road, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
Vigil and Rally begin at 7:00 pm and go till 8:00 pm.
