Delaware County Pride Parade

We will be launching Delaware County Pride this year with our very first and inaugural Pride Parade in Media, PA. The parade will run along State Street and begin promptly at 12:00PM. The parade route is about 1 mile in length and will loop around Media, PA. We encourage any and all musical groups, marching bands, local organizations, and businesses to join us in our very first Pride Parade. Please note, there are no floats or moving vehicles allowed.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 3rd around Media, PA from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. All participants are required to arrive by 11:00 AM at the latest. Late arrival will prevent the organization/group from participating in the march. We ask that all groups begin arriving at 10:00 AM at Barrall Community Park in Media.
Confirmation emails will be sent out on a rolling basis. Once you receive a confirmation email, please make sure to check your email for future information regarding the parade logistics.
The Delaware County Pride Committee reserves the right to limit the number/type of vehicles and/or other entries in the parade.
10 days prior to parade day, each group will receive an email designating the time and place of staging on the morning of the parade. Report directly to your assigned division at the specified time.
There are no fees for participating in the Pride Parade for community groups and non-profits.
Commercial/all for-profit businesses and political office candidates participating in this parade will be assessed a $100.00 entry fee.
All participants are expected to abide by the 2023 Delaware County Pride Parade Guidelines.
No monetary solicitations are permitted before, during or after the parade (parade route included) on parade day.

The Delaware County Pride and all related Pride events are Smoke-Free!
Smoking and vaping are not permitted at any of the related U.D.T.J. Pride events. All Media Borough Ordinances must be followed.
