U.D.T.J. invites the communities across Delco to participate in a community town hall where we can discuss more details regarding the upcoming Delco Pride Festival in 2023. The following town halls will be hosted via Zoom to increase accessibility. Please feel free to attend as many of the town halls as you would like, regardless of the area distinction. Area distinctions are not official and are only used by organizers to help us ensure everyone’s voice is heard.
General Delco Town Hall: Tuesday, October 4th, 7 PM - 8 PM.
All of Delaware County.
Southern Delco Town Hall: Saturday, October 15th, 11 AM - 12 PM.
Western Delco Town Hall: Saturday, November 12th, 11 AM - 12 PM.
Background: The second successful Upper Darby Pride Festival pulled in organizers and community members from across Delco. The festival has grown rapidly and as a result we will be transitioning into Delco Pride for 2023.
Info: The purpose of these town halls will be to help onboard new committee members from across Delco to ensure more voices are represented. Furthermore, these town halls will help us get feedback, take suggestions, recommendations, and overall ensure Delco Pride is as inclusive and representative of our diverse county.
