This is Stop Killing Us Philly’s 6th Annual march/walk to the Congressional Black Caucus to demand that they urgently address community gun violence and the George Floyd Bill.

SKU is leaving from the site where David Jones was shot and killed by Philadelphia Police Officer Pownall in 2017. More details on the route will be posted soon. This is a purely grassroots effort of approximately 140 miles and 21 days on foot.

The estimated arrival date in DC will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at which time SKU plans to inform elected officials about the issues of rampant community gun violence and the lack of passage of the George Floyd Bill to address police brutality.

We must utilize all efforts to stem the tide of gun violence in our communities and the wanton disregard of our rights by some police officers. This is one means to that end!
