Pride Parade

To kick off the annual celebration of Pride in Delaware County we will be launching the second ever Pride Parade!
The parade will feature a colorful procession of participants, community groups, non-profits, and performers, showcasing a wide range of identities and sexualities. You can expect to see rainbow flags, costumes, banners, music, performers, and dance, as well as informational materials and advocacy efforts from various LGBTQQIA+ organizations and allies across our region.
The parade route is approximately 1 mile in length with multiple spots for performances, etc. There are no moving vehicles allowed in this parade.

Pride on State

Following the annual Delaware County Pride Parade, stick around in Media as we continue to celebrate into the evening! We will be partnering with local businesses and organizations across downtown Media to host a variety of LGBTQQIA+ events and activities.

Pride Festival
Location: Upper Darby Township Building

Entry: Free (Suggested Donation $5-$10)
We want to continue the celebration of Pride in Delco! There will be a variety of activities that involves all ages as we did last year. We will also have kid-friendly activities, as well as vendors, music, a DJ, dancing, face painting, nail painting, and other fun activities to be announced!
Our previous Pride Festivals in Upper Darby in 2021 and 2022 have been a huge success growing to include over 100 vendors and over 1,000 total attendees! Last year, Delco Pride’s first year had over 120+ vendors and we hope to grow the Pride festivities even more! Delaware County’s second annual Pride Festival is planned to take place on June 8, 2024 from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. This festival will continue to be free to the community with no admission charge, however we do ask everyone to reserve a free ticket before the festival.

This year, as we grow into Delaware County Pride our logistical costs have increased significantly. To provide the safest and most accessible event possible we need your support to make the festival a reality.
